How Marine Trust Shipping Agencies & Maritime Affairs Co. S.A.E. collects, uses, and protects information submitted through this website.

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy governs the collection and use of information by Marine Trust Shipping Agencies & Maritime Affairs Co. S.A.E. (“Marine Trust,” “we,” “us,” “our”) through www.marinetrusteg.com (the “Website”). By submitting information through this Website — including the General Enquiry form, the PDA Estimate Request form, or by email or telephone — you agree to the practices described below. This Policy applies only to information collected through the Website and does not extend to information exchanged through other channels, such as physical correspondence or in-person port operations. This Policy is issued in accordance with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations (Prime Ministerial Decree No. 816 of 2025).

01 Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you interact with this Website. This includes:

  • Contact details submitted via the General Enquiry form — name, company name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, and message content.
  • Vessel and voyage details submitted via the PDA Estimate Request form — vessel name, vessel type, gross tonnage (GRT), port of call, expected time of arrival, estimated days in port, and service type required.
  • Correspondence data when you contact us directly by email or telephone regarding port agency, husbandry, or related maritime services.

We do not collect payment card details, banking information, or any financial data through this Website. Cash to Master, agency fee settlement, and related financial transactions are handled exclusively through direct correspondence and documented separately from website submissions.

Marine Trust processes the information described above on the lawful bases recognised under Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 — namely, your consent in submitting an enquiry or request, and the performance of the service you have requested.

02 How We Use Your Information

Information submitted through this Website is used solely to respond to your enquiry and to provide the maritime services you have requested. Specifically, we use submitted information to:

  • Respond to general enquiries regarding port agency, husbandry, terminal operations, or related services
  • Prepare and deliver Proforma Disbursement Account (PDA) estimates based on the vessel and voyage details provided
  • Coordinate vessel nomination, berth booking, and pre-arrival planning where a service request has been confirmed
  • Maintain internal records of client correspondence for operational and quality assurance purposes

We do not use information submitted through this Website for marketing, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to the enquiry or service request submitted.

03 Vessel & PDA Request Data

The PDA Estimate Request form is intended for use by ship owners, operators, charterers, and their authorised representatives. Vessel and voyage information submitted through this form is treated as commercially sensitive and is used exclusively to:

  • Calculate an estimated Proforma Disbursement Account for the stated port and vessel
  • Prepare for vessel nomination should the enquiry proceed to a confirmed service request
  • Communicate directly with the submitting party regarding the estimate or service

Note: PDA estimates provided through this Website are proforma calculations only and are not binding until confirmed in writing by Marine Trust. See our Terms & Conditions for full details.

04 Data Sharing & Disclosure

Marine Trust does not sell, rent, or trade information submitted through this Website to any third party. Information may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With Egyptian port authorities, customs, immigration, or other regulatory bodies where required to process a confirmed vessel nomination or service request
  • With sub-contracted service providers (stevedores, surveyors, technicians, hospitals) directly engaged to fulfil a confirmed husbandry or port agency request — limited to the information necessary for that specific service
  • Where disclosure is required by Egyptian law, court order, or governmental authority

We do not share submitted information with advertising networks, data brokers, or any party unrelated to the direct fulfilment of your enquiry or service request.

05 Data Storage & Security

Information submitted through this Website is stored on secure servers and is accessible only to authorised Marine Trust personnel directly involved in responding to enquiries or fulfilling service requests. We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect submitted data from unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted through this Website.

06 Cookies & Website Analytics

This Website may use basic analytics tools to understand general visitor traffic patterns — such as page views and session duration — for the purpose of improving website performance and content. Analytics data is aggregated and does not personally identify individual visitors.

This Website does not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking purposes.

07 Data Retention

Information submitted through the General Enquiry or PDA Estimate Request forms is retained for as long as necessary to respond to the enquiry and, where a service is confirmed, for the duration of the operational relationship plus a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping purposes consistent with standard maritime agency practice.

You may request deletion of your submitted information at any time, subject to any retention obligations arising from confirmed service engagements (see Section 8).

In the event of a personal data breach affecting information submitted through this Website, Marine Trust will notify Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Center (PDPC) within the timeframe required by Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations, and will notify affected individuals without undue delay where required.

08 Your Rights

You may, at any time, contact us to:

  • Request a copy of the information we hold relating to your enquiry or submission
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information, where it is not subject to a retention requirement linked to a confirmed service or regulatory obligation
  • Withdraw consent for further communication regarding a general enquiry
  • Lodge a complaint with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Center (PDPC) if you believe your information has been processed unlawfully

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@marinetrusteg.com. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.

09 Third-Party Links

This Website may contain links to third-party websites, including port authority portals or classification society resources, for informational convenience. Marine Trust is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third-party website. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
